I wasn't expecting the prune and vanilla combo to work this well together, but the sweetness is balanced just right against the tart cherry bite. It's got that old-fashioned soda complexity that keeps you sipping instead of chugging.
The carbonation hits first, then that prune-and-vanilla whisper sneaks in and makes it weirdly addictive. Tart cherry really cuts the sweetness so it doesn't feel syrupy. Finished the whole bottle before dinner even started.
That prune-and-plum combo sounds weird on paper but it genuinely works—the tart cherry cuts through the sweetness and that vanilla note lingers just enough to keep you guessing. I cracked one open expecting a gimmick and ended up finishing the whole bottle before dinner was ready.
